Goodbye 2012, welcome 2013!

Nyt, kun uusi vuosi on jo ovella, ajattelin summata vähän tänä vuonna Heron kanssa saavutettua:

- FIN MVA titteli
- Toinen agility hyppy-SERT
- Vepe SOVE

Ensi vuoden tavoitteeksi asetamme hyppyvalioitumisen ja suuntaamme taas kisareissulle Ruotsinmaalle. Spiritkin aloittanee agilityn kisauransa ensi vuoden aikana.

New year is knocking on the door so it's about time to summarize a little bit what happened during the past year. With Hero we achieved following:

- FIN Show Champion title
- 2nd Agility Jumping CAC
- Water Rescue Suitability Test

Next year we hope to achieve the title of Finnish Agility-Jumping Champion. I have also been planning to make "a competition trip" to Sweden. Spirit might also start her agility competition career somewhere next year.

Spirit: Epävirallisia terveystuloksia / Unofficial health results

Spirit kävi eilen virallisissa lonkka- ja kyynärkuvissa Kari Ventelällä. A:ta ja 0:aa kuulemma odotellaan :) Viralliset tulokset saapuvat Kennelliitosta kahden viikon sisällä.

Lisäksi pyysin ottamaan kuvan selkärangasta sekä olkanivelistä ja nämäkin täysin kunnossa. Terve tyttö siis kaikin puolin! :)

We were at vet yesterday with Spirit to get her official hip/elbow score and here's the result (still unofficial though): Hips A/A, Elbows: 0/0. I asked the vet took X-rays also of her backbone and shoulder joints and both were as should "OK" :) So she is perfectly healthy girl! Official results of the hips and elbows should come in 2 weeks from the Finnish Kennel Club.

Spirit malleilee / Spirit modelling

Spirit (5 kk) mainosmallina ensimmäistä kertaa ystäväni pentukurssimainoksessa.

Spirit 1 v/year !

Spirit täytti eilen jo vuoden! Lahjaksi hän sai leluja ja alla olevan pannan (Irene Vinhan tekemä). Vasemmalla hän taas poseeraa yksivuotisillallisensa kanssa ;)

Itsenäisestä pikkupennusta on kasvanut aivan ihana, hellyydenkipeä, kiintynyt, energinen, kovan "työmoraalin" omaava koira. En voisi edes kuvitella parempaa narttua. Spirit on äärimmäisen avoin ja rakastava - aivan kuten vanhempansa.
Neiti on myös persoona isolla P:llä, jonka touhuja on hauska seurailla. Myös ensimmäinen koirani, joka katsoo tv:tä ja nukkuu tiiviisti vieressäni koko yön <3 Just love her to bits.

Lauantaina olisi tarkoitus käydä Sirpalla otattamassa Spiritistä 1-vuotiskuvia, jos sää vaan sallii ja toivottavasti sallii niin saadaan neidistä uusia hienoja kuvia.

Spirit turned 1 year yesterday! As a present she got toys and the collar on right (made by Irene Vinha). Above she's posing with her first birthday dinner ;)

My independent puppy has turned into a wonderful, cuddling, keen and energetic dog who has excellent working skills. I cannot even imagine a better bitch. Spirit is so open and loving - just like her parents. She's also a personality with a big P and she's very fun to follow. Also my first dog who watches tv and sleeps next to me the whole night <3 Just love her to bits.

On Saturday we're supposed to go to my friend Sirpa to take some 1 year old photos if the weather only allows and hope it will!
